Time is running! The first quarter of the year lies already behind us and a new season is in full swing. But no matter if April means blooming colors and embracing the warmer weather in your part of the world or getting cozy for autumn, our new batch of desktop wallpapers is bound to cater for some fresh inspiration regardless of that.
We’ve been on this mission to bring you unique wallpaper calendars each month anew for eight years already, and we are very thankful to all the designers and artists who keep it running by diligently contributing their artworks to it.
You probably know this already, but LinkedIn is amazing. When it comes to networking with professionals, there is simply no better place to hang out. Not Snapchat. Not Facebook. Not Huzza. Not Blab. Nada. LinkedIn is the professional’s jam. Sitting at 433 million members (as of April 2016) and growing at a rate of 2 new members per second, LinkedIn is a great place to attract business users who are serious about their stuff. Get a load of these statistics (as of April 2015): To break it down even further, here are some key demographics of the LinkedIn user base:…
Since eight years, we start into the new month with a collection of desktop wallpapers — the best way to fuel some fresh inspiration, as we find. And it’s not any different this time around. Designers and artists from across the globe shared their creations with us for April 2016. The result is a collection of desktop wallpapers with a unique mix of ideas and styles, eye candy that is bound to cater for new idea sparks.
2016 will introduce new conferences and be host to most of your favorite conferences from the past years. IoT will probably be as prominent as wearables. And the budding virtual reality topic may very well become a hot topic with the release of two major VR headsets in the last quarter of 2015 and the first of 2016.
The list is quite lengthy, so let’s dive in. Ah — just before we get started: as you might or might not know, we also run a few practical conferences every year. Coming up next: SmashingConf Oxford on March 15–16 and SmashingConf San Francisco on April 5–6. Just sayin’!
We’re happy to announce that the new version of Visual Website Optimizer is now available for limited early access to our current customers and users. If you are an existing user, simply login to your VWO account and in your dashboard, you will get a link to request early access.
Question: When will the new version launch for everyone?
We’ve been working on the new version of Visual Website Optimizer for months, and we’re still not entirely finished! We were supposed to do a full launch today (29th April 2014) but there are some last bits that we need to take care of.
The new version is ready and we already have some partners using it, however we want to make sure we don’t leave any stone unturned to deliver you the best in website and mobile testing the world has ever seen.
Question: What does early access mean?
Early access is for our current customers and users who want to immediately use new features and functionalities that we’re about to launch (such as A/B testing for native apps, segmentation of test results, new charts etc.) and help us in refining those features.
Question: Any more previews of the new VWO?
You bet! We’re releasing a bunch of screenshots / videos on a dedicated landing page for users interested in early access. Check it out here: vwo.com/early-access/
Looking forward to have you as an early user to the new VWO. Stay tuned for the full launch!
